At the September 27th meeting club member Doug Robinson (show above) delivered a Fireside Orientation  for the Orchard Park Rotary Club.  Doug did an excellent job preparing and delivering said presentation.  The club would like to thank him for all his hard work and the interesting and informative talk.
After the meeting club President, Kevin D'Angelo and member Tom Sciolino agree to work together to move the Orchard Park Rotary Club forward following the ideals set forth by Rotary International.

 INSTALLATION DINNER
 
The Orchard Park Rotary Club Installation Dinner was held on Tuesday, June 21st at Tony Rome's Globe Hotel in East Aurora.  A delicious prime rib dinner was enjoyed by all before Kevin D'Angelo was installed as our club President for the 2011-2012 Rotary Year.

This year our club will again donate to Kevin D’Angelo’s annual trip to the Dominican Republic where he provides dental and medical care to the less fortunate there. The club is working on a matching grant from RI.

JAMES SAVILLE OP ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP
 
Each year the Orchard Park Rotary Foundation awards a scholarship to an Orchard Park student(s) who displays the qualities of a Rotarian through their school work, occupational work, community involvement, school involvement and social interactions.  To qualify the student must be a graduating senior in 2011 and must be accepted at an accredited college or university.

RAFFLE UPDATE
  
The Orchard Park Rotary's raffle was held on Friday, May 13th.  Thanks to all our members who helped make this annual event a big success this year.  Proceeds from the raffle support the James Saville OP Rotary Scholarship
 

2011 Scholarship Winner Announced
 
Congratulations to Nicole Fitch, this year's recipient of the James Saville Rotary Scholarship.  Nicole will be attending UB this fall and plans on majoring in Biology/Pre Med
